Your consultation and counseling session are free. If you elect to establish a debt management program, there is a one-time setup fee of $25 to $50 and a reasonable monthly fee.
Be careful when you see promotions for a "free" debt management program. Some companies charge a "voluntary" contribution, and some even keep your first month's deposit. Some truly don't charge a fee, but you may get what you pay for --- poor service.
GreenPath employs a professional staff that provides high-quality, personal service. Even though we're non-profit, we are not funded by the government and still need revenue to operate. Based on your individual situation, we will show you the dollar savings and costs associated with a debt management program. The decision as to whether to enroll is totally up to you |
